LUNAR DUST MISSION – WFF/GSFC/ARC

Final preparations are being made to launch the Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer or LADEE probe to study the structure and composition of the Moon’s atmosphere and determine whether dust is being lofted into the lunar sky.
Brian Day, LADEE Team Member:”LADEE will help us better understand other bodies in our solar system that are similar, such as Mercury, some of the larger asteroids and even some of the moons of the outer planets.”
