I am continuing to paint the Leviathan's body. With all that's going on, including a cold snap tomorrow, it will be a while. I have a template for the orange fin but won't cut them until it is time to apply them.To better match the sparkly orange on the fins, I decided to repaint the tip of the cone orange, using Testors orange since I had some leftover. Well, this went on so well that I have tentatively decided to use that from now on! It costs a bit more but I doubt I'll be painting any large rockets. The exception may be flat black and metallics since I have had good luck with Rustoleum in those colors.
