Just a quick update after I left the aforementioned paint jobs to dry for three hours. The graphic metallic on the nose cone looked better after it dried. There are a few spots that were darker and which had a sort of hammered look, kind of like the Rustoleum hammered finishes. I sanded those areas lightly and recoated. If it looks even better on the next iteration, I'll return to my original plan to use that for the whole rocket. As expected, the primer runs were easily sanded down and have received their last coat.
