Last night March 23, 2010 at Johnson Space Center: The crew of STS-130 receives their NASA spaceflight medals.Equally important, Lockheed contractor Blake Dumesnil was named winner of the Shuttle patch design contest.Last Tuesday March 16, 2010 at the Sheraton Waikiki: Geologist and Moonwalker Harrison Schmitt receives a medal from the American Society of Civil Engineering at their Earth/Space 2010 conference. The meeting was attended by engineers and scientists from across the Pacific. They are energized by the idea of engineering in Space.The view from my room at the Sheraton Waikiki.
