First the good news. It appears the Falcon 9 CRS-6 successfully got the Dragon capsule on its way to the ISS.The bad news is that the first stage landing wasn't successful again. Well, that's not terrible since Elon Must only gave it a 50% probability of success (with an 80% chance by year's end). Looks like Falcon landed fine, but excess lateral velocity caused it to tip over post landing pic.twitter.com/eJWzN6KSJa— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) April 14, 2015Finally, when I saw the announcement of ULA's Vulcan rocket, I couldn't help think that SpaceX inspired part of it's mission profile. Would they have gone for recoverable engines if there wasn't an 'R' in the Falcon9R? I dunno.
