Rover demonstration at Sorahaku 2009
SpaceExpo “Sorahaku 2009″ is now being held at Tokyo International Forum from December 3 to 6. This is one of the closing events of the International Year of Astronomy 2009 in Japan. On the first day, Sakihito Ozawa (Minister of Environment) and Touichi Sakata (Administrative Vice-Minister of MEXT) appeared in the opening ceremony, followed by keynote speech of Keiji Tachikawa (President of JAXA). The hall is filled with attractions like 4-Dimensional Digital Universe (4D2U) theater, demonstration of lunar rovers, and 8-wheel drive electric car ” Eliica” with its maximum speed of 370 km per hour.
