Opportunity for Early Career Scientists!: Applications are open for early career scientists who want to gain experience working in civil space research policy in Washington DC. The Lloyd V. Berkner Space Policy Internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students, and selectees will perform research under the Space Studies Board (SSB).
The SSB oversees many studies that inform the course of space science in the United States - including the decadal surveys. SSB is also responsible for assessing international research coordination and promoting communications. The SSB represents the United States at the International Council for Science (ICSU) Committee on Space Research (COSPAR).
The internship is offered twice each year, but the application deadline for this autumn is fast approaching.
Applications must be received by June 20, 2014. Successful candidates will be contacted by July 17, 2014.
