Thats right the Google Lunar X Prize (@glxp) is doing it again, a moonpie eating contest celebrating their 4,000th follower.
Now you may be asking yourself, “what in the world is a moonpie (eating) contest!” Well, in simple terms it’s a hilarious showdown between a glxp employee (in this case William Pomerantz) and another lucky spacetweep. The last time glxp did a contest like this it was between the famous Ben and Cariann Higginbotham of Spacevidcast and two glxp employees, hundreds of “spacetweeps” watched as the two teams stuffed their mouths with Moonpies.
