Phil Clarkson, of SpaceMiles and The Space Shuffle programs that aim to give non-rich folk a chance to go to space, points me to his latest effort - a crowd-sourcing campaign for SpaceMiles at Indiegogo: Putting 'The Affordability into Affordable Space Tourism' -- Indiegogo.
If they reach their minimum funding of $500k, contributors will be given a free opportunity to join an exclusive/private space flight competition to take place within the first quarter of 2014. Put simply, reach this minimum funding goal and one of our contributors will become an Astronaut!
