Update: The AIA images are now flowing without interruption. However, it will be several days until we are able to fill in the missing data, so some of our movies will continue to reflect the "patchy" coverage from earlier. Thank you for your patience and continued support. Original post 11:21AM EDT:Recently, there have been some minor issues in transferring AIA images to the SDO server, and as a result we haven't been getting new images at the usual rate of 15 minutes. The mission is still operating nominally, and none of the images have been lost - the problem exists on the ground, and we hope to have it fixed soon.
